Welcome to Whitefriars Church Rushden
We’re a thriving church made up of people from all walks of life, committed to loving God and loving people. Why not visit us one Sunday – we’d love you to join us.
We are a group of people from all walks of life, with very varied backgrounds, and different stories to tell, but united by the love of God. We want to do our best to make everyone feel warmly welcomed, and to make all we do accessible and helpful.
Until then, if you want to know more about the Bible’s message for you, click here.
Sunday worship is at 10.15am, and we meet at Whitefriars Junior School, Boughton Drive, Rushden, NN10 9HX.
Our services are lively and informal, with sung worship led by a band, and we aim to be family-friendly, while providing for everyone of all ages and backgrounds. Come as you are.
Children and young people have their own groups: Jack in the Box (pre-school and reception), Energize (School years 1-5), Refuel (school years 6-8) and Quenched (school years 9+).
On the second Sunday of each month we normally do not have a service at Whitefriars – we meet in ‘Stepping Out Communities’ at different locations: click on link for more information.
Our vision as a church is to see lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit
into the likeness of Christ. A key part of the plan to achieve this is growing the depth of discipleship of our members as relationships are transformed with God, one another and the wider community. So that we can assess where we are at and work out what things would help the church to grow, we would like everyone who is part of Whitefriars (wherever you usually meet) to complete a Spiritual Survey.
There will be an opportunity to do this during or after the service on 22nd October and if possible we would like everyone to take part
. If you cannot be there on that Sunday, then please access the survey here
, or by emailing the office. I would stress that the survey is anonymous, so please be honest in your answers, as we want to get a true picture of where we are at as a whole community. Thanks in anticipation, Rev Chris
